With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Lee Guy in Saint Francis, Kansas, born in Latham, Kansas, who passed away on January 24, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Morris Guy and Mabel 'Fern' Guy (Peterson); his wife Marcia Guy (Collins); his son Robert D. Ward, Jr.; and his brother Donald Hubert Guy.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Guy, Andrea (Chris Guynn), Jeremy Guy, Michelle (Peter Helten) and Mike (Amy Ward); his daughter-in-law Kelly Ward; his grandchildren, Samuel Guy, Makenzie Guy, Jake Guy (Cassie), Garrett Guynn (Courtney), Shala Guy, Aaron Haskell (Ashley), Kristi Swanson (Jordan), Taylor Ward, Tyler Ward (Andrea), Madison Ward, Kameron Beal (Josiah) and Noah Ward; and his great grandchildren, Annabelle Guy, Brynlee Guy, Levi Guynn, Easton Swanson, Payton Haskell, Kinleigh Haskell, Brody Haskell and Everett Beal.
To honor Gerald's and Marcia's belief that our children are our future, memorial donations, in his name, may be made to the Children's Fund at First Baptist Church, 315 W. Central Ave., El Dorado, KS 67042. Memorial contributions will be used to support children's activities.
