He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Downey and Cleo Downey (Gardner). He is survived by: his wife Judy Kemble; his stepdaughter Christine Foster (Allen) of Burlingame; his brother Tim Downey of Kansas City, Missouri; and his stepgrandchildren, Kourtney McClendon (Raynor) and Kurtis Flynn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Denny may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS. 66451.
