It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Huggins of Sabetha, Kansas, born in Seneca, Kansas, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Nolte and Mary Nolte (Krogman); her husband Irwin "Hug" Huggins (Peter); her grandson Keith Huggins; and her siblings, Cyril, Edwin, Charles, Sylvester, Regis Nolte, Loretta Niekamp, Lucille Feger and Marie Wessel Mulroy.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Huggins (Rachel) of Topeka, Patrick Huggins of Oshkosh, Mary Corser (Van) of Ulysses and Susan Tollefson (Daniel) of Aledo; and her grandchildren, Amy Smith, Matthew Huggins, Adam Huggins, Kevin Huggins, Gabriel Walton, Andrew Walton, Erin Oberschlake, Bradley Tollefson and Chase Tollefson. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sabetha Community Hospital, or the Apostolic Christian Home, sent in care of Popkess Mortuary, 823 Virginia Street, Sabetha, KS 66534.
