Michael E. Richey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael E. Richey of Sabetha, Kansas, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Michael departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Michael. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara; and his grandparents, John, Rose Richey, Harvey and Maude Hards.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Richey (Workman); his children, Crystal Scrivens (Neil) of Falls City, Tyler Richey of Auburn, Joseph Richey of Sabetha and Kristina Richey of Sabetha; his father Kenneth of Falls City; and his sister Kenna Nixon (John) of Falls City. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the United Brethren in Christ Church (221 S 12th St, Sabetha, KS 66534).
