He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Hoffman and Irene Hoffman (Carpenter); his wife Amelia Zimmerschied; and his siblings, Peggy Graybill and Bob Hoffman.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Feagan (George Johnson) of Sanibel, Randy Hoffman (Lynda) of Sabetha and Richard Hoffman (Lisa) of Tecumseh, Kansas; and his brother Ray Hoffman of Blanchard, Iowa.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
