She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee Purcell and Elna Pearl Purcell (Douglas); her husband Dr. John O. Yulich; and also Marvin Rannabargar. She is survived by: her children, Mark Yulich (Denise), Mitch Yulich (Cindy), Joy Wilcock (Nazario) and Ruth Lockhart (Charles); and her grandchildren, Brett (Khrista), Gretchen (Bradley), Jordan (Kristi), Emily, Jenni (Josh), Will, Makenna, Elisha (Joshua) and Lita. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren.
The lying in state was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Popkess Mortuary (823 Virginia St, Sabetha, KS 66534). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 3:00 PM. Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (701 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS 66112). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the same location.
