She was predeceased by: her parents, L. W. Slayton and Martha Slayton (Fisher); her husband Charles H. Dornes; and her granddaughter Amy Jo Dornes. She is survived by: her children, Bonita Hanni (Bonnie), Dan Dornes (Mary F.) of Sabetha, KS and Bonnie Hanni of Lawrence, KS; her grandchildren, David Dornes (Delfina) of Alton, IL, Kevin Dornes (Leah) of Olathe, KS, Melissa Dornes of Sabetha, KS, Brad Dornes (Kate) of St. George, KS, Jody Becker (Randy) of Corning, KS and Sam Hanni (Sarah) of Overland Park, KS; and her great grandchildren, Daxter Dornes, Danica Dornes, Olivia Sharrai, Lyle Dornes, Kennedy Becker, Raegan Becker, Matthew Hanni, Alexandra Hanni and Scarlett Hanni.
