She is survived by: her children, Lorinda Strahm of Sabetha and Doug Garrett (Shannon) of Sabetha; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Garrett of Sabetha; her grandchildren, Nikki Heiman, Tara Ploeger (Jesse), Natalie Deters (Dennis), Savannah Heironimus (Erik), Jill Doeden (Jake), Rachel Smith (Adam), Olivia Garrett (Seth Kelley), Brendon Garrett (Sara), Meagan Garrett (Treavor Schmelzle) and Reggie Haynie (Hunter); and her brothers, Leon Huning (Denise) of Morrill and Ray Huning (Rosie) of Panhandle, Texas..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Popkess Mortuary (823 Virginia St, Sabetha, KS 66534). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sabetha Methodist Church (806 Main St, Sabetha, KS 66534). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Sabetha Cemetery.
