He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Rutten and Bonnie Rutten (Ewers); and his brothers, James "Jim" Rutten and Jerome "Jerry" Rutten. He is survived by: his wife Tamra Rutten of Sabetha, KS; his daughters, Jennifer Carr (Jason) of Sabetha, KS and Tara Hardin of Bossier City, LA; his grandchildren, Brandon, Emily, Katelyn Poe, Auston, Dallys, Landen Carr, Dillan Russell and Joseph "Joey" Morris; and his siblings, Jeannine Flory (Tom) of Nortonville, KS, Joe Rutten of Phoenix, AZ, Jeff Rutten (Sonya) of Mexico and Jay Rutten (Paula) of Cameron Park, CA..
