He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Boyce and Nellie Boyce (Gibbs); his son John David Boyce, Jr.; and his siblings, Don, George, Jennie, Viola, Betty and Maude Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Lora Louise Sherry of Sabetha; his daughters, Sherry McClain (Mike) of Fairview and Connie Sue Holthaus (Steve) of Seneca, Kansas; his daughter-in-law Patty Heinen (Craig) of Seneca; and his grandchildren, Jason Boyce (Tiffany), Brian McClain (Jenna), Derik Holthaus and Brooke Holthaus. He is also survived by his nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
