He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Charles and Elva Alspach (Hewitt); his wife Joyce Shump; his children, Roger Housholder (Anna) of Topeka and Jackie Lyda (Richard) of Salina, Kansas; his stepchildren, Wayne Studer of Sabetha, Dennis Studer (Tammy) of Sabetha and Jude Michael (Rick) of Topeka, Kansas; and his cousin George Vaughn (Pat) of Washington, D. C. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
