It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen Durwood Gearhart (Sabetha, Kansas), born in Floydada, Texas, who passed away on March 4, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bevens and Sara Nita Hart Gearhart; his grandson Ryan Broxterman; and his siblings, George and Ina Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys L. Hessong; and his children, Roger Gearhart (Tracye) of Midland, Kenneth Gearhart of Phoenix, Arizona and Susan Broxterman (Kevin) of Sabetha, Kansas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Glen Gearhart memorial fund to be designated later and may be sent in care of the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas.
