He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Goodman and Mary Goodman (Bindle); and his siblings, Walter Goodman, Harry Goodman, Albert Goodman, Melvin Goodman, Wilma Albertson and Verna Kosman.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Lape; his children, Janet Valdivia (Mike) of Topeka, KS, Tami Strathman (Bill) of Sabetha, KS, Dennis Goodman (Dorothy) of Sabetha, KS, Teresa Edelman (Brad) of Sabetha, KS, Michael Goodman of St. Joe, MO and Eileen Burenheide (B. J.) of Westmoreland, KS; and his siblings, Robert Goodman of Sabetha, KS, Lucille Kissel of Sabetha, KS and Mildred Dade of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
