Donelle Long Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donelle Long (Sabetha, Kansas), born in Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on April 2, 2018 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Max D. Shanks; and also, Amy Eason and Jodi Sanderholm. She is survived by: her spouses, Eldon Estes and Dwight Long; her mother Connie Shanks of Arkansas City; her sisters, Ann Parsons (Glenn) of Branson and Marla Sanderholm (Mike) of Arkansas City; her children, Kathi Grossenbacher (Jeff) of Bern and Chad Estes (Haley) of Tulsa; her grandchildren, Natalie Woods (Darryon) of Peoria, Megan Weddle (Colby) of Dodge City, Andrew Huffman of Topeka, Trevor Huffman of Topeka, Kristin Huffman of Topeka, Kale Estes, Presleigh Estes, Dalton Estes, Jacqueline Estes and Crew Estes of Oklahoma; and her great grandchild Willa. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Autism Speaks organization to honor Donelle's great-nephew, Quinn, who fearlessly discovers the world each day, one puzzle piece at a time.
