It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel M. Hartung of Sabetha, Kansas, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Hartung and Delores A. Hartung (Heuppelsheuser); his siblings, Max Hartung, Harlan Hartung and Doris Gillis; and his former wife Judith Knowles.
He is survived by: his wife Kim; his pet Chewy of Sabetha; his children, Heather Hartung (Jason Williamson) of Table Rock, Farren Hartung (Terrance Whiting) of Beatrice, Ashlee Mahoney of Omaha, Nebraska and Nathan Hartung of Beatrice, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Trenton Williamson, Jace Williamson, Eliana Human, Jasiah Human, Danidy Whiting, Haley Whiting, Nikolas Miller and Maggie Miller; and his sisters, Darlene Rohlmeier (Henry, Jr.) and Hazel Lear. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; his great nieces and nephews; and his friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Popkess Mortuary (823 Virginia St, Sabetha, KS 66534).
