With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Kolbek of Sabetha, Kansas, born in Holton, Kansas, who passed away on October 15, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin R. Wendt and Louise Emma "Peggy" Wendt (Alley); her husband John R. Kolbek; her son John E. Kolbek; and her brothers, Raymond and Hershel Wendt.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Ann Kesler (Jim) of Sabetha, KS, Ronald S. Kolbek (Cindy) of Topeka, KS and Jeffery L. Kolbek of Sabetha, KS; her siblings, Mary Martin of York, NE and Donald Wendt (Peggy) of Perry, KS; and her sister-in-law Joan Wendt of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
