She was predeceased by: her sister Laura Dawn Shippy; and her grandparents, Pete, Lillian Shippy, Jack and Ann Martin.
She is survived by: her parents, Ken Shippy and Connie Shippy of Horton; her sisters, Stacy Scmidt (Craig) of Wichita, Kansas and Mindy Montemayor (Hector) of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.; and her nieces and nephews, Bryson Tilley of Fort Wainwright, Kenny Joe Schmidt of Wichita, Madison Tilley of Fargo and Kristine Schmidt of Wichita.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the First Christian Church (400 E 16th St, Horton, KS 66439).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lakeside Terrace in Sabetha, Kansas in Amy's memory, to support those living with special needs and the amazing caretakers that share their compassion and love with them.
