He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley J. Jr. Gross and Amanda Gross (Franklin); his wife Donna Dewberry; his sons, Wesley Gross VI and James "Reggie" Gross; his sisters, Viola Smith, Gracie Smith, Aljewel Lambert, Estellia Davidson and Slettie Dewberry; and his son-in-law Dana William, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Anetra Gross of El Reno, Dandria Trueluck, Shalyn Law (Charles) of Russell, Michelle Williams of Long Beach, Tanisha Gross of Russell, Kansas, Ronald Groves of Oklahoma City, Torrrance Cooper of Oklahoma City, Wayne Neal (Shanita) of Russell, Kansas and Devan Gross of Russell, Kansas; and his brothers, William Gross of El Reno and Calvin Gross of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests funds be made out to and sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary * 610 N. Maple Street * Russell, Kansas 67665, in order to help with funeral expenses.
