Violet Rutter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Violet Rutter of Russell, Kansas, born in Tinicum, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chester and Olive Gruver (Haney); her husband E. Preston Rutter; her son R. Kent Rutter; and her siblings, Luther Gruver, Darwin Gruver, John Gruver, Dorothy Stover, Ruth Kreibel, Mildred Ferrara, Marion G. Mellen and Jean Swartz.

She is survived by: her children, Alexis V. Rutter (Dinah) and Barbara J. R. Dennis (Pastor Roger); her brother Paul Gruver (Ruth); her grandsons, Lucas M. Dennis, Aaron K. Dennis and Kent E. Dennis; and her great grandchildren, Kaden A. Dennis, Adelyne T. Dennis, Caileigh E. Dennis and Caroline Violet Dennis.

A Memorial has been established as R.C.A. C.F. – Russell Schools Apple Seed Fund.
