He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Leslie and Josie Edna McAdoo (VanHouten); his wife Janet Sue Ross; and his siblings, Leslie McAdoo and Alice Zordel.

He is survived by: his sons, Doug McAdoo (April) of Russell, Mike McAdoo (Kathy) of Russell and Curt McAdoo (Vivian) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his siblings, Bill McAdoo (Carol) of Russell, Kansas, Larry McAdoo (Darleen) of Russell, Kansas, Josie Doty of Russell, Martha Batman (Charlie) of Otis, Evelyn Monroe (Leroy) of McPherson, Ruby McAdoo of Norman, Mary Pollock of Collinsville and Edna Coyle (Ron) of Topeka; and his grandchildren, Brittney Berens (Joey), Scott McAdoo (Audra), Michael and Naomi McAdoo of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be given to the Russell Food Pantry in Russell, Kansas and can be sent in care of the mortuary.
