She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexius Staab and Celestina Staab (Weigel); her sister Erlene Leiker (Joe); her husband Dale Nowak; and her brothers, Robert Staab, Norman Staab, William Staab and Roger Staab.
She is survived by: her children, Brett Nowak (Debbie) of McPherson, KS, Elaine Rohleder (James) of Hays, KS and Brian Nowak (Cherie) of Omaha, NE.; her brothers, Ervell Staab of Omaha, NE and Dennis Staab of Olathe, KS; her sister-in-law Cacilie Staab of Hays, KS; her grandchildren, Nickolas Nowak, Jarrod Nowak, Jill Bussinger (Taylor), Andrea Clary (Ben), Samuel Rohleder (Kylee), Thomas Rohleder (Ellie) and Hunter Nowak; and her stepgrandson Jacob Curtis (Tessa).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and sent in care of the mortuary.
