Richard Polcyn Obituary

We bid farewell to Richard Polcyn of Russell, Kansas, born in Hays, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 14, 2024 at the age of 77. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian "Mike" Joseph and Clemence "Clem" Katherine Polcyn (Mudd); and his son Alan Polcyn. He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Polcyn-Scott (Glen) of Wichita and Jennifer Rogers (Robin) of St. George, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Alex Cunningham (Dylan), Andrew Rogers, Kinsley Scott and Kallen Scott; his great grandchild Dutton Cunningham; and his sister Jean Crawford of Natoma.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church (415 S Windsor St, Russell, KS 67665). A rosary was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be given to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and sent in care of the mortuary.
