He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Eugene and Vicky Sue Mader (Landis); his grandparents, Raymond, Helen Mader, Waldo and Billie Landis; his father-in-law Rev. Robert Kreier; and his brother-in-law David Kreier.
He is survived by: his former wife Kristine L Kreier; his wife Kristy; his daughters, ZoAnn Mader (Adam Carey) of Lindsborg, Hayle Mader (Jackson Bjornstad) of Byrnesville and Emily Mader; his siblings, Michael Mader (Brenda) of Topeka, Kansas, Robin Walters (Jon) of Katy and Cassie Karst (Kirk) of Russell, Kansas; his mother-in-law Arleene Kreier of Salina, Kansas; and his sister-in-law Patricia Kreier (Diane Branning) of Walton, Kansas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A Memorial has been established with the Russell Pride – Downtown Park.
