He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oren and Hettie Belle Chrisler (McConnell) of Codell, KS; his brother Duane Chrisler (Dale); his sister-in-law Pat Chrisler of Winfield, KS; and his daughter-in-law Carma Geibler Chrisler of Hays.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Chrisler; his children, Regina Chrisler, Russell, Glenna Letsch (Ronald) of Luray, Chris Chrisler, Janelda Jo Manning (Eddie) of Oakley, Tina Hekele (Joseph), Odin, Monte Chrisler and Angela Chrisler of Oakley; his grandchildren, Stacey Dumler (CJ), Mike Chrisler (Katie), Joseph Hekele (Traci), Jennifer Love (Michael), Julie Letsch, Beau Hekele (Char), Jenna Kelman (Matthew), Brady Chrisler (Lucas), Brett Chrisler (Sam) and Bailee Chrisler; and his great grandchildren, Javon Letsch, Brooklyn, Aiden, Lynden Hekele, Drew, Colin, Daxton Hekele, Brecken, Kash Kelman, Riley, Jethro, Thomas and Zane Chrisler.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Activity Fund at Wheatland Nursing Center, 320 S Lincoln St, Russell, KS 67665.
