“I met Maurice in the fall of 2020 after I purchased land near Galatia. He wanted to meet the guy who purchased a piece of ground that was public land and understand what my intentions were. We instantly connected, talked politics, and he brought my son and I to the farm and offered us a sandwich. I couldn't believe how genuine and caring he was and told my son that men like Maurice just don't exist anymore, especially where we are from (Colorado Springs). Left a lasting impression on us!”
