He is survived by: his wife Dolores D. Major of Russell, Kansas; his children, Randall E. Shannon (JoDee) of Wichita and Lenette D. Swaim (David) of Port St; his brother Loren Shannon (Nancy) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his grandchildren, Hayley Shannon, Brittany Swaim and Brandon Swaim; and his great grandchild Jerrick Johnson.
Memorials may be given to the Otterbein Methodist Church or Russell Senior Center and sent in care of the mortuary.
