With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John R. Fletcher of Russell, Kansas, born in Amarillo, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dick Fletcher and Betty Fletcher (Rabun). He is survived by : his wife Heather Werner; his children, Jessica Fletcher-Sudlow (Ryan) of Enid, Oklahoma and Justice Becker of Wichita, Kansas; his siblings, Rick Fletcher (Kelly) of Austin, Texas and Kandi Zimmerman (Mark) of Abeline, Texas; and his grandchildren, Tristan and Willow.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Angels Catholic Church (415 S Windsor St, Russell, KS 67665).

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Russell County Area Community Foundation (RCACF) in John's name.
