She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Clark (O'Neill) and A. Seaborn Clark; her grandfather James O'Neill; her husband John W. Carswell (Bill); her sons, Bob (Bob) and Gerald (Lisa); her great grandchild Khouri Snedecor; and her sister Shirley King.
She is survived by: her father-in-law Homer Doughty; her son Kendal (Elisabet); her grandchildren, Amber Dull, Travis Carswell, Sammantha Carswell, Kassidy Carswell, Keith Carswell, Paul Carswell, Ashley Carswell and Kendal Carswell, Jr.; her sister Lucy Kennedy; and also Lady Auxiliary. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rentschler Family Mortuaries Osborne Chapel (238 N 1st St, Osborne, KS 67473). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alton United Methodist Church (408 Mill St, Alton, KS 67623).
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers memorials be given in lieu of flowers to the Alton Pride and be sent in care of the mortuary.
