We bid farewell to Jim C. Fritz of Russell, Kansas, born in Dearborn, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 1, 2024 at the age of 87. Jim touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, David John and Rosella Olive Fritz (Hite); and his siblings, Robert (Bill), Russell, Leroy (Tom), Shirley Barends and Joretta Okalski.
He is survived by: his former wife Janice Perry; his children, Arden, Perry (Bud), James Jr. (Chris), Richard and Bryan; his wife Carol; and his siblings, Lois Celkis, David Fritz and Judy Kochans. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with St. John Lutheran Church or the VFW Post #6240 in Russell, Kansas.
