Ima Kaye Shaffer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2022, at the age of 78, Ima Kaye Shaffer of Russell, Kansas, born in Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ima Kaye Shaffer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Southerland and Ella A. Southerland (Ezell); and her husband Bub Shaffer. She is survived by: her children, David Riley (Gina) of Plainville, Kansas and Linda Murphy (Eddie Gil) of Hays, Kansas; her sister Ruth Wheeler of Wichita, Kansas; and her pet Simon. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Humane Society of the High Plains and Russell County Food Pantry and sent in care of the mortuary.
