It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fred Weigel Jr. of Russell, Kansas, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferninand, Sr. Weigel and Lidwina Weigel (Sander); his sisters, Thelma Dreiling and Hubertine Herbel; and his stepchildren, Diane Goodyear (Ken) and Gordon Garrett.
He is survived by: his wife Joan L. Garrett (Kaufman); his son Leon "Lee" Weigel of Russell, Kansas; his stepson Blaine Garret (Janet) of Castle Rock, Colorado; his sister Vera Degenhardt (James A.) of Kirksville, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Renee, Jeanie, Erica, Phillip, Melissa, Angela, Kristin, Justin and Jordan. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
