He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scheck and Magdalen Scheck (Windholz); his wife Rita Rose Bellendir; and his siblings, Peter, Seraphine, Victor, Melvin, Gilbert, Linus Scheck, Bertha Denning, Mary Weigel, Rubina Dinkel, Katie Scheck and Leona Scheck.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Karen; his children, Gerald Scheck of New Port Coast, Stephen Scheck of Salem and Karen Scheck of Topeka, Kansas; his sister Lena Mader of Victoria, Kansas; his grandchildren, Thomas, Trevor Scheck and Amelia Scheck; and his great grandchild Lucy Scheck.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be given to the St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and sent in care of the mortuary.
