He is survived by: his children, Kayla Donovan (Dakota) of Kinsley, Kansas, Kyle Donovan (Mandi Blundon) of Russell and Kasey Donovan (Laurie) of LaCrosse, Kansas; his siblings, Gary Drawbridge (Anita) of Mooreland, William Wright of Woodlawn, Oklahoma, Dandy Tramba (Norman) of Edmond, Dee Burns of Bonner Springs and Ann Morris of Malcolm, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Austin, Harlee, Myiah, Kiana, Taelynn and Zade.

A Memorial has been established as the Dennis Donovan Memorial Fund.
