He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe, Jr. Holecek and Bertha Eunice Holecek (Mead); and his son Dan Holecek. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Judy of Virginia; his children, Douglas, Debbie Kaupp (Lynn) of Barboursville, Dawn Spiker (Bill) of Suffolk, Virginia, Doug Holecek (Roxanne) of St. Marys and Darin Holecek (Cindy) of Ellsworth, Kansas; his daughter-in-law Marsha Bouker of Hays, Kansas; and his brother Harold Holecek of Greenboro. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
