Betty A. Boxberger Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty A. Boxberger of Russell, Kansas, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph George and Mabelle Balloun (Britt); her brothers, George R. Balloun, Lloyd L. Balloun and Robert Balloun; and her sisters-in-law, Violetta Balloun, Nancy Balloun, Pat Balloun and Patty Balloun.
She is survived by: her husband Dean H. Boxberger; her sons, Matthew Boxberger (Genevieve) of San Jose, Mark Boxberger (Amy) of Noblesville, Thomas Boxberger (Sheri) of Lawrence, Timothy Boxberger (Dylan Palma) of Russell and Scott Boxberger (Desiree) of Overland Park, Kansas; her grandchildren, George, Joe, Betsy, Jakob, Elyse, Gretchen, Cassie, Joshua and Jenna; her great grandchild Rami; her brother Gene Balloun (Sheila Wombles) of Lenexa, Kansas; and her stepsister Joanne Grandstaff (Carl) of Hoisington, Kansas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the Balloun Family Scholarship Fund or St. John Lutheran Church.
