We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2019, at the age of 88, Samuel George Keener (Rush Center, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Keener and Fannie Keener (Schrieber); and his brother Ray "Pete" Keener. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Joyce Greenler; his sons, Tom Keener (LeAnn), Jeff Keener (Tacy) and Bob Keener (Shelley); his grandchildren, Scott Keener (Emily), Stephanie Goings (Jared), Samantha Tholen (David), Jacob Keener (Jessica) and Dyan Axman (Tony); his great grandchildren, Owen, Evelyn, Quade Keener, Luke and Loren Tholen; and his siblings, Bill Keener and Betty Misegadis.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family request memorials to the Rush County Amusement Company, or the Fort Hays Shrine Club, Hays, Kansas.
