It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Elda Leah Maresch of Rush Center, Kansas, who passed away on June 7, 2020, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Henry and Mary Josephine Barbara Weltmer (Meyer); her husband Lester Wolter Maresch; and her siblings, Claude Weltmer, Fern Davidson and Ruth Hauenstein.
She is survived by: her children, Daryl Maresch (Shirley), Bonita Oliva (Leo), Sharon Hays (David) and Judy Coen; and her grandchildren, Daniel Pabst, Dana Pabst, Michael Hays (Michelle), Matthew Hays (Kimberly), Nathan Maresch (Shu Hua), Jenna Hardy (Nathan) and Timothy Maresch. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Burn Centers or Gideons International.
