He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Henry and Ella Angela Wilson Meckfessel; his daughter Brooke Suzanne Meckfessel; his wife Patricia Colleen Engler; his son Jason Vernon Meckfessel; and his sister Naomi Converse.
He is survived by: his former wife Vergie Ideker; his sisters, Anita Witcher of Elkhart, KS and Audrey Hubbard (DeeJay) of San Mateo, CA; and his brother-in-law Alan Converse. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Pawnee County 4-H Foundation or Rozel Park Fund in care of Beckwith Mortuary Box 477 Larned, KS 67550.
