He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Preston and Grace Olive Pfenninger Grandy; his son Mark Grandy; and his brother Darrell Grandy. He is survived by: his wife Faye Hagewood; his children, Tina Hyburg (Todd) and Crieg Grandy; his grandchildren, Kacey Grandy (Megan Dizmang), Rachelle Hyburg, Jacob Hyburg, Kendra Grandy, Cody Hyburg and Jerimiah Hyburg; and his great grandchildren, Grayson Grandy and Karcyn Grandy.

Memorials may be given to Rozel United Methodist Church, Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice or Dreiling/Schmidt Cancer Center, in care of Beckwith Mortuary, PO Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
