William Harris Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Harris of Rossville, Kansas, born in Girard, Kansas, who passed away on March 16, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Leon and Florence Ellen Harris (Westhoff); his niece Danielle Harris; his sister Elaine O'Brien; his brother-in-law Charlie Bird; and his brother Donald Harris.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Hazen; his children, Robin Harris, Stacy Harris (Sheri) of Waterloo, IA, Terri Hostetler (Dan), Ronald Harris (Kari) and Debra Miller (Russ); his siblings, Sandra Bird of Gladstone, MO, Larry Harris (Lois) of Duncan, OK, Jean Nichols (Ron Gates) and Girard; and his siblings-in-law, Penny Harris of Neillsville, WI and Bernard O'Brien (Beverly). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Lions Club International - Carbondale Chapter, Midland Hospice, or Joseph A. Cates Pulmonary Fibrosis Research--University of Kansas Medical Center and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St, St. Mary's, KS 66536.
