He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Pelfrey and Ora Pelfrey. He is survived by: his wife Bernie; his children, Randall Pelfrey (Donna), Lisa Pelfrey (Rick) and Les Pelfrey (Amy); his grandchildren, John Pelfrey (Chelsea), Sara Tams (Lewis), Brock, Ty Dick, Paige Mehta (Saagar), Adam Pelfrey, Abby Minocha (Kodi) and Brooke Pelfrey; his sister Kathleen Stocker (Orville); and his daughter-in-law Nancy Pelfrey.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rossville American Legion, Jimmy Lillard Post 31, 442 Main St, PO BOX 338, Rossville, KS 66533 in honor Gene's lasting spirit of service.
