He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Marion and Laura Vandell Miller Newsham; and his siblings, Blanche, Doris, Berniece and Harold.
He is survived by: his significant other Ryoko Takahashi; his children, Ruth Puvogel (Dave) of Prescott, AZ, Doris Wagner (Kirk) of Colorado Springs, CO, Mike Newsham (Barb) of Rossville, KS and Laura Clarke (Tony) of Bradford, PA; and his great grandchildren, David Wayne Puvogel (Christina), Nick Puvogel, Megan Smith (Henry), Derek Swope, Gina Patterson, Sheldon Newsham (Teresa), Jarret Clarke and Courtney Clarke. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
