She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Lord and Thelma Weber Lord Palmlund; her husband Cecil Hiatt; and her brother Gary Palmlund. She is survived by: her children, Larry W. Hiatt (Terri S.) and Donna M. Johnson (T. J.) of Winfield; her grandchildren, Wendy Fjorden (Jason) of Beaverton, OR, Dr. Nathan Falk (Erin) of Chanute, KS, Kandi Bolen (Hiatt) of Sterling, NE, Trena Cantrell (Chad) of Goddard, KS, Joshua Hiatt of Rose Hill, KS, Nicole "Nikki" Shelton (Hiatt) of Sterling, NE, Amanda Ballesteros (Phil) of Newfane, NY and Tara Johnson of New York; and her sister Bonnie Lord. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cowley County Humane Society and the American Cancer Society, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
