He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Samuel and Beulah Lavena Pruitt (Cope); his siblings, Roy, Samuel Duane, James, Pauline and Lorene; and his son-in-law Chris Dorser.
He is survived by: his daughter Sheryl (family: Tabatha); his grandchildren, Alexis and Brady Dorser; his daughter Emily (Ty King); his great grandchildren, Elsie and Norah King; his son Roy Matthew (Kristy); his grandchildren, Jett and Madison Pruitt; and his siblings, Earl Pruitt, Robert Pruitt, Johnny (Karolyn Pruitt), Christine Jansen and Thelma Summers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
