It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Ione Alexander of Rose Hill, Kansas, born in North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Lair and Marie Oleta Ankenman (Schrecongost); her husband James Alexander; her grandchildren, Tiffanie and Gregory Davis; and her son-in-law Duke Walls.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Davis (Annie) of Rose Hill, KS, Troy Davis (Stephanie) of Derby, KS, Connie Walls of Wichita, KS, Beth Little of Wichita, KS and Jill Davis (Darren) of Haven, KS; her stepson Kenny Alexander (Kim); and her siblings, David Ankenman (Jacque) of Arkansas, Steve Ankenman (Cheri) of Washington, Bruce Ankenman (Diana) of Washington, Brian Ankenman (Amy) of Washington, Glenva Colligan of Kansas, Carole Spurlin of Louisiana and Linda Forest (Ron) of Montana. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
