He is survived by: his mother Joanne Deardorff (Woika); his wife Denise Ross (Gipson); his children, Jordan Effland (Jessica), Cory Effland (Madison), Jessika Calkin, Erik Calkin and Kaleb Ross; his siblings, Karen Rhinehart, Kathy Morgan and Michael Ross; his grandchildren, Aubrey Gonzales, Binni Effland, Keagan Effland, Kaiden Effland, Elayna Effland, Courtney Effland and Andrea Walter; and his in-laws, Gary, Patty Gipson, Michelle, Chris McWhorter and Alan Gipson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
