It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle A. Bland (Roeland Park, Kansas), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Steven; her children, Emily Bland, Philip Bland and Hannah Shopmaker (David); and her granddaughters, Emerson and Taylor Shopmaker. She is also survived by her family, friends.

“Steve, Emily, Philip, Hannah and family: I am so very sorry for your loss. When I think of Michelle, I think of how she was involved and ready to help at a moment's notice. She and I worked together for years with girl scouts and survived cold, mud, etc... Thinking of those times with Michelle always makes me smile and laugh. Michelle was a good person to parent with during elementary school and I cherish those days with her. Sending love and peace to you all. Peggy DeSeure”
