He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee H. Swanson and Joyce Housden; and his brother Peter Everett. He is survived by: his wife Patrice Swanson; his son Matthew Swanson (Abby) of Roeland Park, Kansas; his granddaughter Margo; his sister Linda Stemm (Tom) of St. Cloud, Minnesota; and his nieces, Alyicia, Mara and Regina Stemm.
