He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schleicher and Mary Schleicher (Blake); his wife Dolores Sue "Cookie" Laughlin; his son Mark; and his siblings, Marilea Frances Martinez, Leo Charles II and Paul Eugene.
He is survived by:, John (Silvia) of Carrolton, Texas, Donald of Gardner, Kansas, Kimberley Rose (Phil) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Matthew of Olathe, Kansas, Mary "Dee" Doty (Craig) of Chula Vista, California, Roberta Johnson (Keith) of Spring Hill, Kansas and Kevin (Karen) of Warrenville, Illinois. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
