He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rues and Martina Rues (Egidy); his sister Kathryn Rues-Boten; and his brother-in-law John Boten. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Kimberly Rues (Mark Sapp); his grandsons, Eric Bell (Nicole Vescovi) and Jason Bell; his daughter Sharon Rues; his grandchildren, Carter and Fletcher Pettid; his stepdaughter Stacy Leal; his stepgrandchildren, Christian (Becca), Brandon (Katie), Anthony, Alyssa and Victoria; his stepson Frank Molino (Rachel); his stepgranddaughters, Sophie and Josie; and his siblings, Allen Rues (Pat), Gerald Rues (Joni) and Audry Wise (Merle). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
